Dr Pritchard qualified from Somerville College Oxford in 1975 having completed clinical training at King’s College Hospital, London.
She undertook training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Hammersmith and John Radcliffe Hospital Oxford before pursuing a career in GUM and completing registrar and senior registrar posts respectively at King’s College and St Mary’s Hospitals London.
Screening and managing genital infections is a major part of the work and includes vaginal discharge, genital pain, dyspareunia as well as chronic candida and recurrent herpes and urethritis. However with many years experience Dr Pritchard has developed particular interests in genital dermatology, colposcopy and managing those ‘genital conditions’ which don’t fit neatly into any specialty.
Dr Pritchard is Currently Specialty Lead Consultant in GU and HIV Medicine at Ashford and St Peter’s NHS Foundation Trust, Chertsey since 1990.

For leisure Jillian Pritchard enjoys Music especially choral singing, swimming, walking and spending time at home with family, friends and the two cats.
